bands like plastic tree?

im a huge fan of plastic tree and i desperately want to find more japanese bands like them. i want grunge/emo/rock bands that have a more minimalistic sound like them. i love metal and wanna find more japanese metal bands too, and ive been listening to many different ones, but i really dislike the "extragavant" sound that a lot of japanese bands go for, like the pianos and organs and violins and fullblown orchestra lol
