led strip lights flickering?

so for the part couple of days i’ve noticed that my strip lights have been ever so slightly flickering. i’ve had them for about a year now and these problems are starting to happen.

now it’s heavily flickering and the colors are full even when it’s at its highest brightness. i tried to unplug and plug things back in but this is what i saw. how do i clean this? why are my lights doing this
