« Motörhead ! Remember me now, Motörhead, alright ! » 🎶🎸🤘

Hi everyone ! Hope you like rock n’ roll, ‘cause my latest project is all about Motörhead and their mascot, « Snaggletooth » !

This MOC started as an head/bust/helmet, like the Star Wars and Marvel ones, but then, it changed direction quite a bit… I made the nose, the mouth, the tusks, but I wasn’t sure how to do the back of the head. While I was having fun trying to make the band’s logo, I had the idea to do a Lego Art kind of built instead !

I centered the head in a 38x38 studs square (the size of a vinyl LP), in the style of the first Motörhead album cover !

I added the pieces to hang it on a wall, and voilà !

I was scared that the weight of the chain would detach the tusks, but I had no problem in the last 2-3 weeks. The lettering was a bit fragile to put together, but once it’s done, it doesn’t move. It’s a display model anyway, so it doesn’t need to move ! I hesitated doing the head full gray, but having the tongue in red was more striking
