RDR2 Save Editor on the Steam Deck

Has anyone been able to get the Save Editor for RDR2 to work on the Deck? I've tried adding it as a non steam game, launching it with the most up to date proton GE. This method works but whenever I try to load up a Save in the Editor, it gets stuck at 41% permanently. Any other advice on how to get it work properly? All I'm trying to do is fix a bug thats been present in the game since launch, and it seems like the Save Editor is the only method to fix it.
