What to Read after HWFWM

I'm new to the LitRPG genre with only finishing He who fights with monsters up to book 9. There are things I like about it and things that I do not. I am seeking advice for what other book series are considered the gold standard or "best" considered amongst most people. To gauge a bit of my taste's here are some things I liked and didn't like about HWFWM (I know some can argue one way or another for the list below, but on the whole this is how the book series was to me):

Liked:

  • Swords, magic, magic beasts, levels system, guilds, etc.
  • MC wasn't OP in the beginning
  • Realistic repercussions shown in his return to Earth where the MC is rejected by his family after seeing how brutal the world of power can be.
  • Decent magic system and level up system.
  • The MC's struggle with taking the harder morally right route

Disliked:

  • The MC lucks his way out of most dire circumstances or just simply somehow soldiers through and gains a new OP power or someone else saves him outright. The author even makes fun of it through the dialogue with the characters; it makes the outrageous choices the MC makes shallow without negative consequences.
  • The mental trauma of the MC goes back and forth way too much and as such it drags on way too much and far too often.
  • Felt the pacing wasn't enjoyable
  • Far too many loose ends and incomplete world building to be tied up within one book that's remaining. I'll hold off on this as a final evaluation as the book series isn't complete, but I don't see how it'll all get tied up within one book without a rushed ending. I've been corrected that there are at least 5 books remaining to be written.
  • The comedic relief and the writing quality wasn't too great.
