Any recommendations for interesting/beautiful libraries or equivalent to work from in London?

I'm visiting London for a month or so and someone once told me there's loads of unique places like society buildings for specific topics such as geography or archeology that have beautiful buildings you can just go and work from. Presumably they also feel incredibly safe to just leave your laptop temporarily compared to a more generic library or coffee shop.

Does anyone have recommendations that fit the bill?
