Any podcast recommendations that is NOT Prancing Pony?
Don't get me wrong, the guys at Prancing Pony do a great job analyzing the books. But I tend to fall asleep listening to it which isn't great since I listen while driving. I feel like I'm listening to a lecture, and though it's good and relevant information, it's not exactly what I'm looking for.
With that said, I'm about a dozen episodes in. If you tell me it gets less lecturey and more light-hearted, I'll stick around. Who knows, it could just be them finding their groove.
I do still want a rundown of each chapter of the books. I liked that PP started with the Silmarillion since that gives a lot of backstory. But I'm mainly hoping to find one that has a few folks just having a good laugh while discussing the books.
