I am so completely and utterly lost

I have purchased an M4 Pro MacBook with 24 gigs of ram. I have been trying to get Final Fantasy XIII to run for so long now I’ve done a factory reset on my Mac. I have tried so many translation layers and stuff and idk what’s going on half the time. Now that I’ve factory reset it I’ve only used wineskin and I was running GPTK with it and I finally got into windows steam and installed the game. When I’d open the game and get past the setup the game just crashes and won’t actually launch no matter what. I was messing in winetricks not knowing what I’m doing and now every time I test run to even try to open steam I get a fatal error saying it’s not supported. Please someone help I’m just trying to get ffxiii to run and for the audio to work (whiskey ran perfectly but the audio was all blotched and choppy). Any help is appreciated
