M4 Pro Rendering Half of the Screen..?
I have the weirdest issue with my M4 Pro Mac Mini.
It's connected to an Alienware AW3225QF via HDMI, shared with the Windows PC I use for gaming.
The Mac has this strange issue where the right side of the screen sometimes renders a fraction of a second before the left side. The tear is dead centre from top to bottom.
I cannot screenshot or screen record the issue as any action on the Mac will refresh the screen and make the issue disappear.
I have managed to get some terrible video footage on my phone, I have zoomed in to highlight the issue. Note that the pointer is in line with the right side of the screen, but the left side has not updated.
I asked Apple and they have no idea, blaming the HDMI cable, as the issue is not present at all on the PC. As a precaution I have ordered a new HDMI, though I don't believe that's the problem.
I'm wondering if it could be related to DSC or some random Mac incompatibility. Any ideas what's going on?
