[SERIOUS] Looking for a different kind of fashion advice.
I'm a college freshman, currently enrolled as a psychology major at UNC Charlotte and hating every minute of it. Really, the only thing I can see myself doing with my life and enjoying is something in the fashion industry. Starting from the top, what should I change my major to in order to have the best chance of succeeding? Should I try to major in something specific to fashion or something more general such as marketing or business? Are there any North Carolina state schools that have fashion programs or majors better suited for this goal?
In the long term, what kind of career should I aim for? Personal shopper/stylist would be my preferred line of work, but are there any other careers that I may not not about or have more room for growth and success?
If there's a better sub for me to be asking this in, please direct me to it, but I figured this would be the best place to start.
