I despise Peni Parker!

Does anyone else feel like all Peni does is back up? I feel like a vanguard's job is to make space for the duelists to then utilize, but it seems like Peni's kit intuitively plays in the backline. I've had a few ranked games recently where I'll play another tank with a Peni and it seems like she's almost waiting for someone to dive her or just walk into her spider nest. But the thing that makes me hate her is the fact that there's one in EVERY game. Idk what it is about her that seems to attract what seems like 1/6th of the player base, but I'm tired of playing with this wannabe gundam. Is this just me or is anyone else feeling the same thing?
