Accidently romancing Ashley consequences?

So I'm replaying legendary edition and made the mistake of being polite to Ashley so she assumed we where in a relationship when i was actually romancing Liara, when it got to the point of confrontation i told Ashley i wasn't interested and I'm planning on letting her die on Virmire. What I'm wondering is are there any consequences to this mistake? Does it ever get brought up in the other to games if i dealt with it and she is dead? I would really hate any dialogue suggesting shep cheated or that they where romantically involved with Ashley
