Hallucinations

Is it normal at all for visual hallucinations to often be of the same person/face? For around 12 years now I've had hallucinations of a pale person/thing. Closest thing I can describe it as would be the wide eyed grudge face. First saw it as I was watching a movie on the lounge and I felt something touching my lower back, looked down and I see that face looking back at me. Ever since then I've seen that same face on most of my hallucinations, when my mental's bad the face gets more evil looking, usually the person is peaking at me from around a corner, crawling across the ground, standing in the room or sitting in the chair. I have a psychiatrist appointment for next month hoping to finally get a proper answer
