Why does nobody like Nosferatu?

I was completely stoked for this film since its announcements trailer and absolutely loved it when it finally got to watch it. The cinematography, simple but effective story, setting, characters, the actors; one of the best films I've ever seen.

Still everybody I recommend this film seems to hate it! Do I have bad taste or do they have? I love to talk about this incredible movie but I can't find anybody who actually likes it..
