Falling Down (1993) is my new favorite movie. It absolutely nails America.

I dont really know what else to say. I can't believe it took me so long to see this movie. I've seen clips, I've seen some of its imagery, but somehow I never watched it till now.

The movie has you rooting for "the bad guy" the entire time. I loved the dichotomy between the Sheriff and Foster, where they both reach a breaking point with bullshit and go past the point of no return.

Almost all of the points are still relevant today. The overpriced goods, the screwed up politics and bureaucracies, liars prospering, Nazis, people getting rich off useless and empty services, wasting land and wealth on the few while the majority are suffering.

What a great goddamn movie.
