Buckel Surgery

Hi everyone. I 23F just had buckle surgery (1 week post op) on my right eye and have to get lattice repair in my left (a much easier procedure from my understanding) My eye doc said that my vision will get significantly worse after. I already have horrible vision -8.00 in my right and -8.25 in my left. How bad did anyone else’s vision drop after this surgery? Also any pointers to help with the headaches while recovering?
