Collapse of Nairobi Estates

Is it me or are we seeing a fast degradation of Nairobi estates. Got out to try and look for a new house and you come back wondering what has happened to the good old estates. It's all illegal structures and settlements everywhere. Unruly garages in every corner. Funny looking flats and apartments, with blood pressure raising rent. Is it just me?
