My Z8 Landscape Pics are Meh

I’m new to the Z8 and photography so I am going down the learning curve. I apologize in advance for the frustration that will come through in my post.

I’m shooting landscapes with a Z8 in Aperture priority at f11 with auto ISO and the pics are way underwhelming versus an iPhone 15. I’m using the pinpoint focus. Also using the 70-200mm f2.8 lens and sometimes the 400mm f4.5 lens. Looking at the EXIF data, I’ve noticed varying shutter speeds while in A mode.

What settings or how do I get the pics to come close to what the iPhone 15 can produce?

Again, I know it’s me and not the Z8. I suck at this but am trying to get better. I do enjoy going out and trying to figure this out. Next question will be about my 99.999999% blurry bird shots. lol.
