NNP Regrets

I recently started a new role as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner, but I'm finding it challenging to see myself in this position long-term, mainly due to the long hours. After nine years as a NICU nurse, becoming an NNP seemed like the natural next step, but I can't help feeling envious of my friends who pursued Pediatric Nurse Practitioner roles in specialized fields. For those who decided to go back for a PNP certificate, how difficult was it to juggle clinicals while working as an NNP? I'm also concerned about how my co-workers might view my decision to return to school.
