Why is highschool chemistry a requirement for nursing school?
EDIT** okay so some of you are being super helpful and educational which I appreciate sm!! My bad for not evaluating more on this post. What I mean to ask is how do you, as nurses, use/apply chemistry in your everyday lives? I’m currently taking Chem 20 and, don’t get me wrong, it’s pretty ok for the most part but I’m having a difficult time seeing how mole ratios, volume and concentration of a solution and all that fun conversion jazz is relatable to nursing? I can see where acids, electrolytes and osmosis comes in, but my chem course is heavily focused on stoichiometry… how is that useful when it comes to doing one’s job as a nurse? (This is for curiosity purposes only..) :))
