Yeah, just that. I often get those false awakenings where you think you're awake and is going about your day when suddenly you blink and your body is still on the bed, but your real eyes aren't actually open and you can't move or speak. I've had that since I was young but it was scariest in highschool cause I'd lay down for a quick nap before an exam or before the next class (teacher come to to classes instead of students moving in my country) and then "dreamt" that the teacher already came in or the exam was starting and I can't get up even though I'm already awake so I'd scream for my friends to wake me up but the real me never made any sound. I'd have to calm down and focus all my strength into my hand or fingers. As soon as I can move them, my body jolts awake and I'm "safe".

But then, I was never in danger. I was just panicked. After that, I take my time experimenting with that space, what I can do, how long until I wake up, etc.

Eventually, I was able to freely explore this alternate space but I'd have to be careful because I can snap back to my original position if I lose focus. It felt a bit like lucid dreaming after a while where I hang out in an alternate space while waiting for my body to wake up, fully trusting my alarm to do it's job. I discovered along that time that I'm not always alone but whatever that is, it never bothered me. Sometimes we'd brush shoulders or I'd trip over it but nothing serious. It doesn't have a form unless I give it one via lucid dreaming and it never has a face, which is fine cause it'd be weirder to recognise someone in that lump of blue grey goop.

A few years ago, I realised that I can masturbate in that space to stimulate my body and make it wake up faster. It somehow escalated to me doing it with that thing. Maybe I'm just horny but if it gets me off, it does the job. I just always wake up before it cums.
