Fulfilling my quirky queer auntie birthright.
I dress up for my monthly med infusions. My look from November was one I really loved.
In my 20s I dressed very andro/light futch and hung out in lesbian/gay bars almost exclusively. I dressed femme (sometimes almost hyperfemme at times) for basically all of my 30s. Now, at 40 I'm finding myself drawn to mix more masculine patterns, shapes, dressings into my existing largely femme wardrobe. In true old hag fashion, I got these pants on super super clearance at Kohl's. And they're not a particularly "flattering" cut on my body, but I like the way I look, so fuck it.
For me, in particular with my upbringing, allowing myself to explore whatever styling I want is a radical form of self love. 💜
I'm high af and I'm gonna regret this later.
