Ridiculous death loop

I got trapped in the Ark of the Exiled and just was just respawning in front of enemies bashing me before I could even move. It lost count of how many times died, woke up, got bonked, only to wake up on another spot on the ark with another set of enemies surrounding me. I just looped between the jail and the stairs. It might not be a lot, but it felt so long. Fortunately I got out of the loop thanks to Gep. It was so ridiculous I forgot my anger and frustration.

Has anyone else experienced a death loop?
