Painter wants me to get following for bathroom ceiling - LOXON XP Waterproofing Masonry Coating

I bought a condo in Miami recently and seems like the previous owner just painted the bathroom/shower ceiling with a normal paint that started peeling very quickly

I had the building painter in my apartment today for something else and asked if he would be interested to repaint my ceiling. He told me to buy the above mentioned paint but when I google it it says it is more an exterior masonry painting.

Just wanted to see if there was any logic for him telling me to buy this
