“Get all the help you can get”… WHAT HELP!?
My partner and I welcomed di/di b/g twins about a month ago. We also have two young dogs at home that need our time, love, and affection as well (both great dogs, but still time consuming to take care of them). So basically, we have two tiny humans and two pets relying on us to survive. Everywhere online or tips we get from strangers are “get all the help you can get”. I am not joking when I say that we literally do not have a single person we can rely on for help. We live on a completely different continent from both of our families and our friends in our current country all have their own families to take care, most with toddlers so it’s not like they can just drop everything and come help us.
So far, we’ve been managing alone, barely keeping our heads above water. This shit is hard. But the phrase “get all the help you can get” is just so triggering for me because there is simply no help. So, any other twin parents who also did it fully alone? Just looking for some success stories
