Good ambush locations.

I'm a fairly new player. I've had the game over a month but only play maybe two an hour and a half a week.[lots of work and adult things] I really like the sarco and have gotten it to sub-adult finally. My issue I'm having is I can never find anyone to hunt. If I hang out in the young Grove river, absolutely no foot traffic. If I hang out around the two large ponds absolutely dead. Maybe I'm playing sarco wrong?
