weird wi-if disconnects

so my pc had been running on ethernet for the longest time and i had to switch to we-fi at my newest apartment. for the most part it runs really smoothly, but about once every 15 minutes, i’ll have a complete internet blackout. zero connection whatsoever for about a 2 minute span. this makes online gaming completely impossible and is very fristrating. especially since it displays having “full bars” during these blackouts. i’ve tried two different USB wifi adapters, but it’s the same case for each one. i suspect this is a problem with the computer itself since my other devices don’t run into this issue. any help would be greatly appreciated.
