Stuck/dead pixel on new Samsung G7 Odyssey
So I have just bought a brand new Samsung Odyssey g7 144hz 4k monitor. I brought it home Wednesday looked everything over and it was all fine, checked over for any visible damage to the screen, and it was fine, plugged it in, checked all the pixels and everything was fine so I threw the packaging.
Turned it on today, and noticing this red pixel. I thought it was stuck but I'm starting to think it's a dead sub pixel. However it only really shows on dark screens, so blacks, dark blues, dark greens etc. on other colours like yellow I cant see it. I have an OLED TV (I know I don't get how I can be this unlucky, prior to 5 months ago I've never had an issue with pixels) with a stuck pixel, so I tried all the usual methods like jscreenfix and the flashing videos, and massaging the area etc but it's just staying there.
My only issue is because I've thrown the packaging I won't get a refund/exchange due to it being only one stuck pixel.
However if it's dead I'm hoping I may get some leeway. What do you guys think? I bought it from currys in the UK if anyone is aware if this would be covered.
