based on this interview it seems plausible that Bernie might have seen at least parts of a Nectar’s show. He definitely hosted a Phish concert in 1986 (with Allen Ginsberg as the main event) but that’s not even in here

he doesn’t cop to seeing any specific shows (and maybe he hasn’t who knows he doesn’t seem to really attend concerts) but he also knows their entire history from Nectar’s to Coventry and he credits himself with helping reunite them, and seems to be friends with Mike
