Long Term?

I’m looking into starting my path into being a phlebotomist! I just had some questions I was looking to be answered by people in the field.

Is being a phlebotomist a “stepping stone” or is it something you can make into a career? Once you’re certified is there any other certifications you could get to move up kinda thing? From what I’ve heard it’s more or less moving up into the supervisor position- if you’ve done it how was it?

& if you’ve ever been a sterile tech what was that like? Do you suggest it?
