Bad experience with a photographer. I don’t want to give her credit in posts because I would not recommend her to anyone.

I traveled to another state and took engagement photos with a photographer. I found her on instagram and really loved her work. I was charged 600 dollars for 3 locations. My overall experience with her just wasn’t the best, I’ve gotten photos taken before and loved how all the photographers offered guidance since my fiancé and I aren’t models and aren’t the most comfortable in front of the camera. We would take time traveling to locations and she really only snapped a few photos and would complain about everything (heat, being tired etc.). Fast forward it has been about 2 1/2 months and we haven’t even gotten a sneak peak of our photos. I reached out a few weeks ago and she advised she would send them no later then 08/30 fast forward still nothing. She uses her public instagram to talk about her life and what’s going on with her (and share multiple memes per day). She stated she would be having surgery and would try to get everyone’s gallery out to them before this last Friday and if she didn’t it would be after her surgery. Of course she has sent nothing and also has not texted me to communicate personally (paying customer) she continues to use her instagram as mass communication which to me is unprofessional not everyone who follows you is a paying customer and you should take the time to inform the people who actually pay you through tex/call/email. I’m really trying to keep my cool until after I get my photos. When I do get them I don’t really want to tag her in anything because I would not recommend people to spend their money on her just from my experience alone. What are your thoughts what would you do?

Edit: as soon as she sends me what I pay for I’m tempted to just block her and be done with it.

I did find the contract and it just states I’m not allowed to alter the photos and share them, it does not state she needs to be tagged so I think I will be okay!
