I just realized it happened 3 times.

3 Times as had the chance to save a pigeons life and failed. The first one is this poor one I found on a school trip. I found it injured on a bridge and wanted to care for it but was forced to leave it behind by the teachers. I told a local animal rescue organization but it was to late and it was found dead, drowned in the heavy rain that came down. The second one was in London on vacation. I was driving on a bus and saw a pigeon get stuck on a net above a theatre. It was probably even there to keep pigeons away. I was so in shock from seeing that, that I didn’t even call a rescue organization. The next day I saw it again. Still stuck in there. Dead. The 3rd time was on the way to work. I found young pigeon with a missing leg and it‘s second leg entangled in something else. I tried to catch it for a few minutes but it slipped underneath a foodtruck and i couldn’t get it anymore and had to sprint to work then. I never saw that one again but it‘s obvious it didnt make it too. It makes me sad and hate myself and all the people that see these poor animals and just ignore them.
