Help me help this guy

Hi. Last few days in my front garden I've had this little fella take a liking to me. He is flying fine eating fine imo, but his behaviour for a pigeon is concerning?

He has no friends, and hangs in my garden all day till night time.

I'm now able to get pretty close to him without him worrying which is unlike all pigeons around here!

I'm wanting to know if I've made a friend or If someone with a more experienced eye, believes It looks sick please let me know so I can take him to the vet. I hope I made a friend tho and he ain't sick!
