What age did your pit start to become arthritic/ stiff?

Hi all!

My 8 year old guy has slowly started to become a bit gimpier. Some days he’s totally peppy with no sign of stiffness, and other days he’s slow to get up and walks with a slight limp. I give him glucosamine supplements and those do seem to help.

I struggle with how to handle it though because the pup LOVES his walks and would walk until his legs fell off, even when he has a limp. 😕
