Why Is Marvel Making These Shitty Disney+ Shows
So, I’ve been a huge fan of Marvel movies for years. The MCU has given us some of the best superhero films ever, from Iron Man to Avengers: Endgame. Even after Endgame, I was excited for Phase 4 and the Disney+ shows. At first, things looked promising—I genuinely enjoyed WandaVision, Loki, and Moon Knight. But somewhere along the way, something changed.
The moment it hit me was Ms. Marvel, episode 3. I remember watching it and asking myself, Why am I even watching this? Why they turn the MCU into a cringe teenage girl Disney Channel show? But I kept watching because, well, it was a Marvel show. And that’s when I realized—the fan inside me was slowly dying.
Then came She-Hulk. I didn't even bother watching it properly, just skimmed through it. The humor? Forced. The CGI? Atrocious. The writing? A complete joke. It felt like Marvel didn’t care anymore. Then Secret Invasion happened, and that was another massive disappointment. But at least Loki Season 2 was good, entertaining.
And then there’s Echo. I watched one episode and dropped it. Who even asked for a show about her? And then Agatha: All Along , another show about a character no one gives a damn about. Who is Marvel making these shows for? They’re sidelining fan-favorite characters and giving shows about second-rate, uninteresting side characters.
But for now, I'm excited for Daredevil: Born Again, but then Ironheart coming up—another show about a character nobody cares about. Why is Marvel picking these characters for Disney+ shows? There are so many great characters they could explore, but instead, we’re stuck with this garbage.
