Necro Story Save Data Issue

I bought "Necro Story" for PS5 today. I've played the game twice today, it shows the auto save icon, I return to menu, it shows load or continue. Then when I turn off the console, there is no save data, no load or continue option. Is this a PS5 issue or a Necro Story issue? I've never had this issue before and don't know where to turn to.
