How have you dealt with shoulder injury?
I hit my goal of a 315 bench last month, but since then I’ve been fairly out of commission with a shoulder injury. It’s constantly stiff and achey, and at times feels like it pops out of socket and I experience severe pain when this happens. Then I sort of move my arm around a bit until it clicks back into place. This happened 4x within 10 minutes a few days ago.
I have a doctor and physio appointment coming up that I’ve been waiting for.
In the meantime, I’m wondering what fellow powerlifters have done when they’ve experienced shoulder injuries in terms of their gym routine - shift to cardio while seeking professional care?
