First Trimester International Travel?

I just found out I was pregnant (currently only 4 weeks), but we have a trip planned to Europe at the end of August. I will be 11-12 weeks by then. I have read that there is a higher chance of miscarriage if taking flights in the first trimester, especially an 8 hour flight. Has anyone flown internationally at 11 weeks or earlier? And were you and baby ok? I also have a bicornuate uterus so that means I am at a higher risk of miscarriage in general. Has anyone had any experience with this?
