US-folks, how much did your pregnancy/birth cost you out of pocket?

I’m currently 16 weeks, have an insurance plan from Aetna through my job with a $2,000 deductible and a $9,000 out of pocket maximum. I have already been billed over $1,000 for my NIPT and other blood tests. So far I haven’t been billed for my two midwife appointments or my one ultrasound, but I was told that Aetna doesn’t consider ultrasounds a part of “standard prenatal care” so I’m anticipating a bill for that. I’m 37 and having twins so I’m considered high risk, will have a lot of ultrasounds and have a higher likelihood of needing a c-section and the babies needing NICU time. I’m trying as best I can to predict how much we’re likely to spend out of pocket between now and when we take the babies home. How much did y’all pay? (and all of this on top of the $400+ per month we’re paying just to have the insurance, gotta hate the US healthcare system…)
