Looking for insight on UV-Curable inkjet flatbet printers from China.
Hi,
A while ago I posted a topic on finding the right printing technique for the job. It turns out this is going to be a "consumer size" Inkjet flatbed printer with UV-curable ink!
Now my knowledge is still a bit insufficient but as far as I know almost every one I found "could" on paper be sufficient for what I want! (printing on cellphone covers and thin PP sheets). The thing is I'm finding a wide variety of models from all over the world with very different prices. Most China models seem to be priced around €1.800 ~ €4.000. Then the Roland models are 16K and 25K (two cheapest models, both approx A4).
Now my question is, is there anyone that has any experience with these kind of printers from China? The build quality? Support? Any other remakrs. I can't imagine the Roland printer is worth the factor 10x price, but if the China printer breaks after 6 months, I probably won't get the money out. Below is a table that serves as an example with a couple of models, for comparison. I've noticed that, on paper, all these printers kinda have the same specs, even tho I'm still a bit unsure about all the color combos they offer, the amount of colors.
Name | Origin | Price | link |
---|---|---|---|
HQ UV Printer (A4) | Ebay - China | €1.900 | link |
HQ UV Printer (A4) | Ebay - China | €1800 | link |
szinterjet (A3) | Alibaba china | €2700 | link |
VersaUV LEF-12i | Roland USA | €17.000 | link |
ARTIS 3060U | ArtisJet - BrotherJet (?) | can't find price.. | link |
Would the quality in these last two be that much better than the cheaper ones? Are they rip offs? I can imagine they are being used in China.. Also those ebay sellers for example have TONS of positive feedback on those accounts. Concerning the last printer, for which I can't find a price, I did find a lot of bad feedback on the company BrotherJet..
Hope someone can help me out!
