New here: why did Thom only include Jonny and not the others?

GUYS THIS SERIOUS, I FEEL BAD FOR COLIN, ED AND PHIL. Why did Thom not ask them to join THE SMILE? Even they know how to smile, despite being bitter (proof in pic) How can Thom smile with only 2/5 of Radiohead??? Is he stupid?
