Can you cheat the game and have the random encounter ambushes be repeatable?

Is there a way to not "complete" an ambush event without mods?

Leave 1 of them alive and ride away or hogtie one and ride away so it can happen again?

I am currently testing the hogtie the last enemy that survived and i even let him go but he wasn't an enemy anymore he just ran away and at least right now i have not been able to get that same ambush again.

I just want them not to happen only ones per game, It's already so empty in epilogue when the O'Driscoll's are gone and Laramie has like 2-3 spot with Hanging Dog so all of New Hannover is so empty of action.
