I’m reaching out here because I’m at my wit’s end with Replit support. For the past few days, I’ve been completely locked out of my projects. I paid for my subscription expecting a reliable development environment, but now I can’t access anything, and my support tickets have gone unanswered.
I’m on a deadline to deliver an MVP, and this has seriously impacted my work and reputation. It feels like Replit isn’t prioritizing its paying users or even basic customer support. I’ve seen others here express similar frustrations, and now I’m starting to wonder if this platform is as dependable as it claims to be.
If anyone has tips on reaching someone from Replit or has been in a similar situation, I’d appreciate any advice. Also, to those considering paying for Replit, I’d advise caution. After working with Replit support and further troubleshooting, I discovered that the access issues were primarily caused by a conflict between my Kaspersky antivirus software's web protection and Replit's security measures. This explains why Replit's support team couldn't see any blocking issues on their end.
To be fair to Replit:
Their support team did respond and tried various solutions
The core issue wasn't actually on their platform
The problem was resolved by disabling Kaspersky's web protection
I made this post when I was frustrated and didn't have the full picture. While I still believe there could be better documentation about potential antivirus conflicts, my initial post was more emotional than factual.
For others who might experience similar issues:
- Check if your antivirus software (especially Kaspersky) is blocking access
- Consider adding Replit as a trusted site in your security software
- Work with both Replit support and your antivirus settings
