Fatal Collision Involving Pedestrian on St. Andrews Lane

The Richmond Police Department Crash Team is investigating a fatal collision involving a pedestrian and a vehicle in the 6000 block of St. Andrews Lane.

Today at approximately 8:04 a.m., officers were called to the parking lot of a local business located in the 6000 block of St. Andrews Land for the report of a collision. Officers arrived and found an adult female down on the ground unconscious after being struck by a pick-up truck. She was transported to a local hospital where she was pronounced dead. The driver of the vehicle remained on scene.

The RPD Crash Team responded to the scene and determined the pedestrian was crossing the parking lot when she was struck by the vehicle. The investigation continues.
