Who else enjoys the mundane parts of sailing?
I'm about 6 days in on my two week solo trip around the islands of stockholm's archipelago. One of the things I love about an overnighter is having all this quiet time to yourself. There aren't all that many distractions so it's a great moment to organize the stowage and work on some things. My big unnecessary job was hooking up an old searchlight I had bought a few years ago but was too lazy to install. I also redid all the electrical wiring for the interior and navigation lights. Until now I had to pull the fuse in and out to get them working, now it's all on old fashioned push-pull switches, what a luxury!
