Almost got rental scammed.

I recently almost fell for a rental scam. I called the number listed for a property and had several conversations with the scammer. He asked for personal information like past evictions, bankruptcy, and criminal history, which made it seem like a legitimate process. The scammer sent me online links and had me fill out an application, which felt normal for a rental process. He even got me inside the house, by filling in some link though Invitationhomes.com. It wasn’t until he asked for a $1000 deposit through Zelle that I started to feel something was off. After his request, I blocked his number and realized the listing had been updated with his number removed. However, I later saw his number pop up again in a new listing for a property at 11844 Nava St, Norwalk, CA 90650, which was posted just two days ago. It looks like he's still trying to scam people with this new listing. His number is (380) 279-1676, and he goes by the name "Rafael Centeno." He gave me an email and phone number to make the payment via Zelle: (407) 552-2988 and blufordz428@gmail.com.
