I love my therapist because
she encouraged me to be a better person with each session that we have. When I share my traumatic experiences she doesn't shove her biases down my throat, nor does she force me to constantly relive my trauma. She reminds me that I am more than my trauma. She allows me to be vulnerable without judgment. I have had a therapist in the past who of course are good at their jobs but they just haven't been good enough for me. I truly am grateful for my medical team and I really hope that everyone struggling with mental illness also gets the chance to be heard in their treatment. you aren't just another number you aren't just another statistic. Always remember that you matter, even if the world says otherwise.
