S1 E7 “The Monogamists” who was in the wrong here?
When I first watched SATC I loved Big and Carrie, but as I am rewatching it I see the flaws in both of them but I cant help wonder who was in the wrong in this episode. It starts with them totally in love with each other and them spending a lot of time together and then one night Carrie hangs out with the group again and Big is literally on a DATE with an other woman.
Then later on they go out for ‘dinner’ and they are in an appartement of one of Bigs friends and a woman kisses him on the lips and points out that he still got her passport. They walk up to his friend and then his friend calls Carrie Julia. The friend proceeds to say that because she writes a collum about sex, she is dating the perfect guy. (I found this whole situation so weird, if that would have happend to me I would probably go home crying…)
But my main question is: Is Carrie wrong for being so upset and was she just being delusional? Or is Big in the wrong for even thinking about going on a date with another woman?
