What Am I Missing?
Our power bill low end this year was $365, currently $550+ as a result of summer AC. Illinois is ending net metering when 2024 ends. We have gotten other quotes and this is the cheapest option. My understanding is my bill starts at the $185 (replacing the electric portion of our Ameren bill, only have to pay natural gas). Eventually the bill will be around $333, still cheaper than our current bill.
Am I misunderstanding something? What am I missing?
