Season 3 Prediction

Thanos wakes up in the organ harvesting room, his throat all bandaged up, when the squids show up to swipe his kidneys. he ganks them, steals a uniform, and goes undercover as a squid. nobody notices the difference because they're still recovering from the attack. Thanos runs into guard 11, and being the lady killer that he is, rizzes her right up, and she helps him understand the basics of squid-work. this also adds to her arc of coming to see the players as people, because Thanos killed the people who jumped her, and she's greatfull (that's why she helps him), but other than that, Thanos totally proves her theory that all these players are scum, needing to be put out of their misery, but as they grow closer, she sees Thanos change for the better, and in turn change her.

without his drugs, Thanos starts reeling, finally taking in the shock of the situation. throughout the series, we see Thanos has trouble facing uncomfortable feelings/situations, and he often turns to distractions to cope; when he realizes he's in a death game, he starts popping pills to take his mind off the situation, rather than facing the shock and fear. when he loses all his money, he blames it all on player 333, rather than facing the responsibility. maybe guard 11 calls him out on this, now that they're working together. she's all like "you're scared of responsibility" and he's like "nah baby i ain't afraid of nottin'. i ain't no coward" and she's like "i never said you were a coward, i just said you were afraid of something, but the glove fits" and Thanos is like "was that an OJ reference?" and then OJ Simpson burst through the door and he's like "I DID IT!". so we get to see a whole new side to Thanos now that his drugs are gone and he has to accept the situation for what it is. he goes on a whole character arc where he learns to face his problems, and accept all the dark feelings and shi, until, second act low point.

his old lackey is trying to kill ming-su (player 125), so he jumps in to save him, because he views ming-su as something of a little brother, as we see when he embraces ming-su in the 6 legged race, and when he saves ming-su multiple times during mingle, choosing to save him over both his lackey, and ming-sus hot goth gf. so Thanos steps in and fights his lackey, beating him, and in the process, exposing himself to the squids. so, Thanos steals his cross back, and runs into the building to escape the squids, which is much easier to do now that all the cameras are destroyed, so Thanos ends up hiding out in some room or vent or whatever. now, here's where the low point comes in. now that he has his drugs back, he relapses, and all the progress he made, learning to face the darkness and accept responsibility is thrown out the window. now, he's back on his revenge quest for player 333, and he's gotta navigate the squid game building without getting caught. now, Thanos is basically just playing amogus, until the finale.

the detective realizes he was holding the map upsidedown, and he finally locates the island. the military dudes invade, and from there, it's chaos. the old lady has already died by this point, so curly-hair son takes up arms and dies fighting the squids to avenge her. gi-hun realizes his boyfriend is the front-man, and he realizes the detective lied to him, the frontman realizes his brother is on the island, the detective confronts his brother, you get it, these 3 are locked in a mexican standoff. guard 11 has already died at this point. she was killed by the frontman for standing up for the players, which really pissed off Thanos, losing another fine shyt, and he blames it on 333 for some reason. ming-su will of have gone on this whole character arc where he stops being a massive pussy and fights back against the squids, but Thanoses lackey is still trying to kill him, so ming-su has to fight back. 333 learns to not always put himself above everyone, and he fights to protect his pregnant shawty 222. but now that shit's going crazy, Thanos has an opportunity to unleash the beast. he comes out of hiding, and he starts going CRAZY trying to kill 333. he gets his grubby mitts on a fork somehow, and starts trying to do 333 the way he was done, but 333 is fighting for love and shi, so it's a struggle. while they're wrestling, Thanos drops his cross, and all the drugs fall out. at the same time, he realizes ming-su getting absolutely fucked by his lackey. Thanos looks at the drugs, then at ming-su, then back to the drugs, then he looks up at player 333, defended his fine shyt with the fork. Thanos calls 333 gay and then rushes to ming-sus aid, grabbing the cross and leaving the drugs behind him.

he tackles his lackey to the ground, and they start wrestling. now, his lackey acts as kind of a reflection of him. in season 3, they'll show that lackey is also incapable of facing negative situations, so when he loses the drugs, he goes crazy, he goes stupid, but unlike Thanos, he never learns or grows, so when Thanos fights him, he's metaphorically fighting his inner demons. now Thanos is underneath him, and lackey is a junkie, so he's on top of Thanos, ripping his bandages out, clawing at his throat, talkin' like "GIVE ME THE CROSS!!!", so Thanos grabs the cross, and jams it in his lackeys throat, mimmicking the fork scene in season 2. and the cross is blunt, so Thanos really jams it in there. now the lackey stands up and stumbles away, reaching for the cross, and Thanos lay there, bleeding out. but he's ok with it, because he's come to accept upsetting situations, and that includes dying, for the second time.

ming-su crawls over to him and he's like "oh no, this is all my fault! i couldn't save [hot goth baddie player 380], and now you, i'm just a coward."

Thanos is gasping for air when he says "don't worry about it my brawther." he thinks back to his conversation with guard 11. "we're all scared of something, but that doesn't make us cowards so long as you get out there, and face your fears. don't be a coward, be a legend."

ming-su is holding Thanos in his arms, trying, and failing, to hold back his tears. Thanos speaks.

"don't cry, my brAWder. 🎵In the sea of faces you caught my eye. My beauty, my flower booming among weeds. Red, orange, yellow, green, Im a legend, Thanos. Look at us in this blue-green. Now give me the green light.🎵 I. like. y. y-yo..."

Thanos dies. he's lifted to heaven on angels wings, and as he's brought into the light, his eyes adjust to see player 196 and guard 11, waiting for him with open arms.

now at this point, the frontman has killed the detective, most of the other players, and he has gi-hun at gunpoint, but he can't bring himself to kill his fine shyt. now ming-su is filled with rage, so he charges at the frontman, giving gi-hun a chance to fight back. and it's anyones guess what happens from there...
